Each year, billions of animals are subjected to cruelty on factory farms, feed lots, and slaughterhouses. The brutality that these animals endure would be grounds for felony cruelty charges if inflicted upon our cats and dogs.

I think if you're against cruelty and you look at what happens to animals in slaughterhouses and on factory farms, you have to be completely against eating meat.

I'm sure you agree that animals should not be abused - whether they're cats or dogs or chickens - and that stopping this abuse should be your number one priority.

Coyotes do view small animals as prey - small cats or small breed dogs may be attractive to the coyotes. We encourage people to really monitor their pets. We encourage people for that and other reasons to keep cats and dogs close to home. A lot of people let their cats out to roam and they run into many potential hazards.

I can't say I hate cats, but holy cow, dogs are a horse of another color.

Dogs believe they are human. Cats believe they are God.
