Earlier this season, I said I'd walk barefoot from Raleigh to Cary [a nearby city] to not only get in the tournament, but to win a championship. I guess I had to take one [a shot to the groin] for us to do it.

You watch him walk and it's like he's walking barefoot on glass.

It's definitely been a challenging first 10 days under coach Karl, ... He's really tough on me, and I like that because I know it's going to make me better and make me cut down some of my bad decisions on the court and make me that much smarter of a player.

He's been telling me to make sure that if you practice at 11 o'clock and (Karl) wants you to be there at 10, you show up at 8:45,

The way I look at it, I'd rather him talking to me and yelling at me rather than not saying anything at all, ... If he's talking to me, that shows that he likes me.

I'm going to have to be as patient as I've ever been in basketball, ... I'm going to have to continue to work hard every day and when I get my opportunity, I have to make the best of it.
