Early on, it was tough to find those players that fit the mold of our type of Texas player. These players fit that mold. They are the consistent piece.

When I started playing in London, it was against older players, and I wasn't the strongest player. So they put me out on the perimeter. That's where it (his three-point stroke) comes from.

I don't think Mr. Rather was reckless, ... Just as they broke the mold when they made him in Texas, I think they broke the mold (for his type of hurricane coverage) when Dan retired.

He's going to be a steal for somebody. I fully expect him to be an early offer type player. He's already getting plenty of attention from all of the local teams ? Kansas, Kansas State, Missouri and others are already all over him. But I think he's good enough to play for almost anybody that can use a back in his mold.

I see everything in his game. He's still one of the players who provides you with the mold about how to play the game.

After all my years, there are two things I've never got used to - haggling with a player over his contract and telling a boy he's got to go back.
