Envy is like a two-headed serpent: it kills the enemy of its master, and its master.

Self-pity does not have a place in the heart of a mature person. It's an illusion lazy people want to keep in themselves to give them the power to justify why they don't forgive, why they don't love, why they don't succeed. It’s the enemy within.

Wishing evil upon our enemies will not harm them. It will only harm the ill-wisher. It's like putting cyanide in your milk tea, drink it, and wishing other people to die. That's the reason why Jesus said, "bless your enemy, bless and do not curse them." ‪

Life is doomed and to cease one day; Not a single soul can choose to stay. Better pave a way for the saints to stroll so that bad old serpent could tempt no more.
