Erin put a great deal of time into her search for a college and I think she found a gem in Roanoke. I know she is very happy there and I am excited for Kelsey that she chose to go there as well.

I think this year, she's going to have a hard time copying the offense she had last year. If she can match her numbers from last year, that would be great, but I think pitching-wise, she's going to improve some things and be more consistent.

There are former college and pro players on some of the teams. Even the first-time fan will enjoy some of the hockey this weekend.

Coming in, we knew he was a first- time [college] coach. Once he gets the right personnel, he'll do an excellent job.

I was real happy for Jen because she's had a few tough games recently. She swung the bat real well (in this game) and it was nice to see her get a couple of good shots. After she drove in the first run, she helped everybody get in a groove.

I thought they played a great game. They had us on the ropes a bunch of times throughout the game. And there's been a couple of games this year where we had that situation and weren't able to score. It was nice that we sort of turned it around.
