Even if the perpetrator is angered enough by your refusal to go along with his demands, to where he wants to harm you, you still have a chance of survival if you're not under his total control.

He's a competitor, I'll tell you that much. He wants to win; he's been with the Rangers and he demands a lot.

In most instances, if you are fleeing from a perpetrator, and he fires at you, most likely he won't hit a vital organ. So you still have more of a chance of survival than what you would if they drove you to that second location where they could make sure your dead.

If you get that feeling that something isn't quite right, most of the time it isn't.

Try to avoid walking alone. If you want to exercise, have a friend or your spouse walk with you.

Toss the purse away from yourself and most likely they will go after it, and that is when you run and seek help.
