Even in our sophomore year when we were on JV together, it was the first time he had every played organized [basketball]. Where he's at now is incredible. His size and his height are such an advantage, and he's taken it further than I ever thought he could. He's made a lot of progress.

It was especially tough for me, because I had to play the post position. It was a totally different spot. It was tough because you didn't have that security of rebounds of course— he's in double digits a night, plus we couldn't get the ball into the post. That's why we struggled against teams like Decatur, which have big post men.

When Chris shoots — he was shooting the last-second shot for a reason. It went off the top of the glass and I thought, 'Well, it's hopeless now because Chris missed it.' Collin grabs it and puts it back in and it was like just shock for a second. Then, it was sheer craziness.

That's what makes (Sammons) so good. He's always around the plate and he can throw any pitch at any time in the count.

We've gotta deal with one game at a time.

We played hard, but it's the same thing every time. We've got to cut down on our turnovers. I would've liked to have stayed in the zone all game, but their shooters did a great job in the first half.
