Even though they graduated 14 seniors, they have enough talent and tradition returning to make another run at the title.

He has tremendous ball hawking instincts, and his quickness and speed helped him deflect and break up many other passes. Swartz also possesses good ball instincts and has a knack for making plays.

Scott has been an incredible athlete for Hurley High School. He holds all of Hurley school's lifting records. He's been training since the eighth grade.

Our defense played extremely well. This was a big win for us, especially after a tough loss last week to Baraga.

We did what we needed to on defense to win. Tyler Harrington had an absolutely fabulous game at defensive end for us. He had three tackles for losses. David Mullen had two sacks and several hurries. Those hurries helped our defensive backs pick off four passes.

Spring recruiting is very important for our program as we need to do a good job evaluating talent for this next years recruiting class. Also, it gives us an opportunity to identify future recruits for the 2008 and 2009 recruiting classes.
