Even with raising fees, we don't come close to paying for our ferry service.

The rule changes are pretty much smaller housekeeping stuff. We do have some fee increases proposed, and I'd guess the one that might have the most impact is charging for pets.

Our philosophy behind the fee is to offset the strain pets can put on the State Parks resource.

By adding this new service to our own shipping line, Weyerhaeuser is in a unique position to build value for its businesses and for new customers. As ground transportation becomes increasingly challenging due to congestion and higher costs, we're offering a strong logistical alternative with cost, reliability and environmental benefits.

This is really just in addition to the service that we already offer online. People want to shop online but may not have a computer and find that the cost of getting one can be quite prohibitive. Therefore we are trying to provide access to the service over things like the Pocket PC and digital TV.

It's part of a larger system that's yet to be launched. That system will be a for-pay service, and that will subsidize what we're doing for the homeless.
