Events like this really help promote a safe environment. We're trying to prepare students for what can happen.

We wanted to help create a healthy environment for students and help them learn healthy behaviors. A cookie is not bad for you, but if you have three cookies for lunch, it is not a good thing.

Last year, I went to the UCLA-Illinois game and didn't like the environment. It was quiet. The students weren't into it. There was no enthusiasm, no atmosphere. But I went to the Ohio State-Iowa game. What a difference. It was a great atmosphere. Iowa City was crazy.
