Ever since college, I have been a libertarian - socially liberal and fiscally conservative. I believe in individual liberty and personal responsibility.

I'm a conservative Republican, small-business guy, married to same gal - love of my life - for 36 years. Strong family man, deacon at my church; I believe in America. I know government is not the answer; individual liberty and personal responsibility is the answer.

There are those that want "freedom" from individual responsibility. Then there are those that want individual "liberty." I choose the latter. I am a Libertarian

I believe in trying to get a balance between individual freedom on the one hand and social responsibility on the other.

I believe I have a personal responsibility to make a positive impact on society.

Fiscally, I'm very conservative. I don't believe in welfare states. I believe in giving people jobs.
