Every child growing up will look to their parents, my mother and my father. My grandmother lived with us. I picked up quite a bit of family lore and history from her, which was interesting.


He knows that if his father had been a different man, or his mother another women, he would have been the same.

 He would have lived all his years the same way. They played no part. Any combination would have produced the same result. The same man.


Growing up, mostly in Montreal, I was an only child of loving parents.

As a child, your parents are responsible for what you'll become. As an adult, you're responsible to change what will be.

When I was growing up, I installed refrigerators in supermarkets. My father was an electrical engineer.

Growing up, I've enjoyed hunting with my father.
