Every day I'm playing new games. Games are becoming more and more natural for film. Game makers are exploring this new and different interactive medium and they're bringing young, fresh and dynamic ideas to the table.

The best way to adapt a game is not to look at the medium as being inferior to film.

I think that people who have tried to adapt games to cinema have tried to adapt a game to something that's cinematic. With 'Tomb Raider' they tried to make an Indiana Jones film, with 'Doom' they tried to make an 'Aliens' movie, and with the 'Resident Evil' movies they tried to make zombie films.

The game is constantly interesting because your imagination is constantly working. You're given clues about the background of the town of Silent Hill and you understand half of them and the other half you imagine.

If you look at Buster Keaton or Douglas Fairbanks movies, what still amazes you today is their physical ability. The only special effects that never grow old are what you can do with the human body.

There's a difference between fair game and playing games.
