Every game is a stepping stone to getting to the final game. We had a really good first period and all of a sudden the tide turned.

Over the last couple of months, I've really been leaning toward stepping in and taking on this responsibility, ... I'm really excited about it. There's going to be a lot of good unrestricted free-agent defensemen (available) this summer. We're in the game for those guys now. We have the opportunity to bring in some impact players.

You look at what he did at the World Cup and what he did in the Stanley Cup final and all the way through the playoffs for Tampa Bay. He goes to another level. We love guys like that on our team.
