Every sound alarms.

False alarms are down dramatically, and we're very pleased. That was the intent of the ordinance, and it's working.

The teams are now looking at all the data to determine what may have caused the inadvertent alarms that woke up the crew.

We can't emphasize enough the importance of fencing around pools, of pool covers, pool alarms. All of those things remain critically important to save lives.

Our last two fires had smoke detectors, but no batteries, ... We're praying to get the word out (about smoke alarms).

Perhaps the remembrance of these things will prove a source of future pleasure.
