Everyone says good pitching beats good hitting. That's what we're trying to do.

Today is an emotional roller coaster for us here. We are trying to stay focused, however, on putting out the best newspaper we can tomorrow. We have the opportunity and obligation and privilege to write our own obituary. We are in the process of trying to figure out how we are going to do that.

That was fun to watch.

We serve children, who have been known to break into employee and agency vehicles. A gun would present a danger to the children and the staff.

The biggest thing, ... is Kevin always knows what he wants to do. Sometimes pitchers will get in those situations and feel that they got into trouble because what they were doing wasn't working, so they try something else. Kevin is really good at staying with his plan and just turning it up a notch.

We had to get him focusing on the delivery and delivering the ball to the plate and not thinking about what you want the ball to do. I think it was key for him, because hitters didn't know what was coming.
