Everyone talks about the Tallman House and how Lincoln slept here.

We're trying to tell the history of Wisconsin one community at a time. Each community has its own perspective and its own place in the overall statewide history. Our audience is a statewide audience. We're trying to make some of those connections of how Janesville fits in with the bigger picture.

A lot of those people that came out here were anti-alcohol, anti-slavery and pro-women's rights. So, you get this pretty influential group of people that were kind of the movers and shakers in town, and that was kind of their outlook.

Which is a real loss for a community to have a sense of that disconnect.

My biggest objection to Marxism has been the presumption that industry should exist at all. I think the unstoppable juggernaut which is global warming demonstrates that processing natural materials on an industrial scale is a suicidal practice.

I did the first album, and it did much better than anyone expected.
