Everyone was talking. We were working as a team. Everyone was boxing out. Shot selection was good. Everything was just going really well for us.

I had not looked past my first fight because anything can happen in boxing. I just concentrate on one fight at a time and not even think about anything else.

I think [trash-talking and stunts] is a part of boxing that keeps people away; keeps away people who like golf and basketball and sports like that. Now, fight fans do like that there is violence, but Long Island is a different kind of crowd. So, with boxing here we need to be gentlemen and do our business in the ring.

The big boxing public recognizes Antonio Tarver for his win over Roy Jones, ... They definitely recognize me, too, for my win over Roy Jones. People have an opinion as to who is the best fighter between us two so that is why he and I wanted to get it settled.

I like to say that they're proof that there is life after boxing.

I think that sometimes kids use the show as a jumping off point for talking about things with their parents.
