Exaltation in God's kingdom is not a reward for righteous living, but a result of righteous living.

A person does not become clean and pure enough that they are then worthy of God's love and are exalted. God's love makes them pure and clean enough to then be exalted.

Life gets in the way of living

You regret more the things left undone than the things you have done.

It would be a premature exaltation

The righteous are the people who are living by the laws of the kingdom
