Fans are people who let an actor know he's not alone in the way he feels about himself.

I did not want to put myself on the line, as an Australian playing Britain's greatest comic actor. The fans of Sellers are obsessive, possessive - and aggressive. I did not want to risk their anger - or my own reputation.

Giant fans from all around the country wish they could be here. It is sad, but we also know his spirit will be with us no matter what.
