Fear of failure has always been my best motivator.

Fear is always a good motivator.

Failure is another emotion I cannot stand to feel, because in adult life I have conditioned myself not to fail at anything. Failure takes me straight back to the feelings of worthlessness I grew up with as a stammering, reclusive little boy.

Always be courageous and strong, and don't fear.

Right now, writing for me is most rewarding because I'm old enough now to have something to say, which probably wasn't always the case.

If you're doing your best, you won't have any time to worry about failure.
