First, the (medical) clearance, and then, 'How do you feel?' I'd like to have him around.

I feel I need that. I have to re-tunnel myself. And I don't know how I'm going to feel after the first game. Maybe I'll be in the hospital, too tired. There might be too much emotion.

It's nice to win, ... I still feel like I'm in the spring training mode. Sometimes I feel really good. Sometimes I feel off balance. Those are things you go through in spring training. I'm trying to put it together in such a short window of time.

But I don't know when he'll get cleared. The later it takes for him to get [medical] clearance ... maybe that will make it easier for him to make a decision.

My first 18-foot pole vault wasn't any more of a thrill than my first clearance at 15 or 16 or 17 foot. I just had more time to enjoy it on the way down.
