F**k, it's like they've never seen a f**king duct tape wall before.

You have to abide by the quiet or courtesy hours specific to your living arrangement. On one hand you should be able to play at a reasonable volume for a decent period of time, but then again you can't be rocking out for six hours a day every day.

Living in the residence halls gives you a wonderful opportunity to meet others who share the same passions.

There's always that one guy with the 100-watt half-stack who is maxing out his amp and being heard three floors above and below him, which doesn't make anyone happy. Not everyone is as excited as you about guitar and loud noises.

But just now, he'd gotten on his knees and proposed marriage, like in a television commercial for a diamond ring. Except of course they had the roll of duct tape instead, which, when you came to think about it, was a far more practical item. Such a bad mistake it would be, to embark on marriage and adult life without a nice supply of duct tape.

The duct tape crosses. That's what did it.
