Flagstaff has truly embraced this event as a mountain-town tradition.

We experienced what I consider to be an extremely unlikely event. It was truly the straw that broke the camel's back.

Is the small town a place, truly, of the world, or is it no more than something out of a boy's dreaming? Out of his love of all things not of death made? All things somewhere beyond the dust, rust, and decay, beyond the top, beyond all sides, beyond bottom: outside, around, over, under, within?

We have moose around town as well as bear, elk and mountain lions, but we don't have moose attacks. It was a freak thing.

I would be loath to break with the tradition of using the same attorney as the town.
