Football over there [in Jamaica], we put the ball down and kick it, ... The first game I saw here, I had to leave. I said, 'Oh my God, they are hurting him.'

Offensively the first game we just crushed the ball.

I was like, come on do it for New Jersey. I saw her kick and knew she was going to keep it going. I was thinking that would be incredible, having two Shore Conference girls winning Penn Relays titles.

That was the key to the first game. The second game, we put the ball in play a lot better. Our kids responded well after the first game loss.

For the first game out as a starter, I like what I saw. You see what kind of arm he had, and you see how he can fit balls in there. He had three interceptions that will drag his passing efficiency down, but I like the guts of the kid. I think he can play. But he has to do a better job of organizing and managing the offense out there, too, and he know that, and I hope he does that next week.

We got better tonight. Tonight we were a better football team than we were the first game of the season.
