For a freshman to come in here the first time, he showed good poise and I think he's right on track,

He's a weapon, ... You know you're going to flip the field every time he steps out there. Also, he's a very good directional punter. He allows us a lot of luxury there.

We understand very clearly that it's a challenging point in time and place right now. We have lost our loved ones. We have lost some of our communities, our jobs, our homes. It's a hard time for us. But we have to rebuild. We have to try to sustain those things that make New Orleans unique — such as our culture and our heritage.

I used to think that once you were a grown-up you did something right the first time.

We have a lot of confidence in Chris, ... He came in and redshirted a year, and, at that time, we weren't real sure. But one year learning under Seth Marler, and the following year he came out in the spring and in the fall and he was a roughly 42-, 43-yard average. He's been in the fire for two years. He's done a great job.

I think over half of the time we will be in the [shotgun], ... The zone-reads, the quarterback counters, those will all be the same, but there will be a few different things in the passing game that will hopefully take advantage of those 'gun-runs.'
