For him to have understood me would have meant reorganizing his thinking... giving up his intellectual ballast, and few people are willing to risk such a radical move.

To give up is to put yourself at risk

Founding a company is hard. Most of it isn't smooth. You'll have to make very hard decisions. You have to fire a few people. Therefore, if you don't believe in your mission, giving up is easy. The majority of founders give up. But the best founders don't give up.

The situation is very serious, but the people are very serious too and have no intention of giving up. They are determined that they must have a positive response before they withdraw their demonstration.

We are not giving up on repealing and replacing Obamacare.

Life is just like a seed , some grow fast and some grow slow but evantually one day it will grow ! Never give up ! Someday you will bloom.
