For I have sworn by myself, saith the LORD, that Bozrah shall become a desolation, a reproach, a waste, and a curse; and all the cities thereof shall be perpetual wastes.

Also Edom shall be a desolation: every one that goeth by it shall be astonished, and shall hiss at all the plagues thereof.

And it shall be unto them as a false divination in their sight, to them that have sworn oaths: but he will call to remembrance the iniquity, that they may be taken.

Cast out the scorner, and contention shall go out; yea, strife and reproach shall cease.

Thou hast heard their reproach, O LORD, and all their imaginations against me; / The lips of those that rose up against me, and their device against me all the day.
