For me to hang with and eventually beat Hale Irwin is a proud moment for me. Hale and I have been playing against each other for a long time. When I came out on the tour, he was already an established star. I've got tremendous respect for Hale not only as a player, but as a person, too.

I knew something was very wrong as I played in the JELD-WEN Tradition and the Wal-Mart First Tee Open at Pebble Beach these past two weeks. My play was very poor, and my knee was killing me. I knew I had no other choice than to have surgery on my knee immediately.
