For the McClinton family, this has been a long time coming. So we are very pleased that this day has finally come.

With a case this notable and with the death-penalty issue, it makes it more difficult to seat a jury. It's a much tighter scrutiny of jurors in this type of case.

It's been a rough time for the family but it has helped pull everyone on the team together. We've tried to visit Kevin as much as possible and call him after every game to keep his spirits up. But he's been a real inspiration for us, too.
