For us it is a very great happiness to be able to represent our country in Germany 2006 and to make happy a country that has trusted in us and has always given us the force to obtain this feat.

We now want to go and beat Germany and claim third spot, because they are the hosts and that will make it a special game,

Now we have to work hard to do well in Germany.

We lost a single game. That shouldn't be cause for us to say, 'Let's fire de la Torre or Ricardo (LaVolpe),' just because we lost to the United States. Were they hired to get us to beat the States, or to put us in the World Cup?

We know we can (win), ... although they (US) will make an effort to beat us and show us how they have gotten better. If that is the case, they will need to demonstrate that on the field.

The main country on this tour for us is Costa Rica because Germany is playing them in the opening match.
