For us to hang in there against the number one team in the state like that ... I'm just so proud of our kids. And Wendy and Kate, they were tremendous.

She stepped in and started and played the whole game. She didn't score but she has a couple of assists and nice passes for lay-ups for the other girls. She played good defense. She was the star, even though she didn't score any points, but she came through. We really needed her.

We'll rent a car and we'll just drive. There's nowhere we have to go. The trips are just us, and we stay together.

A lot of us weren't ready for it. I'm thankful that we have a guy like Joe that will come out and push us to do it, not just someone who tells us to do it and walks away. He pushes you to work, and that's what everybody needs.
