For victims and survivors, the help means everything.

We want to make (victims) aware of their rights. We also want the public to help us support them.

To look around and realize that other people are grieving, it helps them cope. They learn how to network and fellowship with each other, and that helps them heal.

That's a vital support group for us. They do lots of things. They network with each other, they connect.

We have to do something for the victims and that's why we do this program.

I think it's going to help that I'm a local and that I'm very familiar with all of the high schools in the area. I also understand how things are run at Western and what the expectations are.
