We have some parents who once had a child removed from their care, who have worked through the system and now counsel others who are facing the situation. They can help parents get their kids back because they've been there themselves and know what it takes.

The biggest mistake parents make is thinking they're done parenting when adolescence kicks in. They just have to take a step back, but remain involved. They can't let the child push them out of their lives,

For me, friends and like maybe my appearance and family and grades are the most important right now. Honestly, like, seventh-graders don't think that far into the future.
