From an engineering standpoint, it makes a lot of sense. Bottom line is you can move a lot of traffic with the design.

You can look at that in two ways, but I don't think we have a good enough handle on what this is going to cost. We have a good idea, but if you give them a figure then you almost give them a blank check and most of the proposals will come in close to that number.

I think it is very important that we think about how we are going to evaluate these requests including what we are going to look for, what criteria they need to meet and how we are going to grade them.

Engineering companies are primarily what we're seeing. You have big floor plates and can get everyone on one floor, which works well for dense users like engineers.

In a number of ways, manufacturers have to dig deeper into their engineering toolboxes to find ways to make gains in customer satisfaction. The industry has peaked, at least temporarily, and it will take renewed efforts to again move the competitive bar higher. With the percentage of first-time boat buyers now declining, it's very important to first attract and then keep people in boating, and part of the solution is producing the finest possible engines.

Putting up cameras doesn't solve the problem. It just rewards the city for poor engineering.
