From the top of my cranium, he plays quite extensively in Spring Training. Perhaps we should give him less at-bats.

I would say guys who pitch in the Caribbean Series are ahead, really. You come to Spring Training and you back up. We'll take it easy on him for a little bit and then we'll put him in there.

If he held onto that ball, ... perhaps that inning's a whole lot different. Still, the margin of error's very small because we're not scoring.

Frank sought me out (Wednesday) and said he felt great. When Frank says he feels great, he plays. I don't want to fatigue him, though. We have a late arrival in Seattle, so there's a good chance Frank won't be in there (Thursday).

We led the league in hitting into double plays last year. We don't have a whole lot of team speed and that's what happens.

I'm sure I'll butcher some plays in spring training. I've got to go out and screw up and get used to playing the outfield again. That's the only way I can get back to normal.
