GDX Automotive was a very big win for the city, county and state.

The Cravens were a vital part of our city, county and state for many years. They truly left an indelible mark on our community.

The local community stepped up, demonstrated a real excitement about the whole project, and a willingness to bend over backward and make this a reality. That was key.

We are fighting a constant struggle. The decision to close a plant or reduce workforce is often made out of state (at corporate headquarters) and those automotive suppliers obviously have less of a loyalty to (Wabash County) than we would like to see.

Things that happen in Wyoming are things that wouldn't happen in a big city - we've got bears, we've got a lot of shotguns - in Absaroka County, everybody's got a shotgun in the back of their car!

It's kind of disappointing. Florida State was a big win, but it doesn't mean anything after that if you come back and lose. We just want to keep moving on forward and winning. We're at home, and we shouldn't be losing games like this -- especially with the mistakes and mental lapses that we had.
