Garrett Temple did a wonderful job, but our other players did a wonderful job of carrying out the plan. It was as fine an effort as I've ever had a team play.

We wanted to make sure that J.J. never got into a shooting rhythm. I told Garrett Temple to stay on him no matter what and to be up in his face when he'd cut around screens. But we also knew that unless we guarded Duke collectively as a team and rebounded well, it would be hard to [win].

When we won in 1990 we had a similar set-up with most of our players back from the previous year. We had been to the state tournament before and when we got there again, we just weren't going to lose. We knew what we had to do. This team has that same kind of experience. They know what it's going to take.

I think James did a wonderful job of finding Spencer. Those are guys who grew up together and know each other.

He did a nice job. The biggest thing with Tyrus may be his conditioning as opposed to his ankle by game time on Thursday.

Erik did a wonderful job on (Nick) Freer, one of their better players and Lowe stepped in and gave us a great, great game.
