It would open us up to workplace causes of action such as sexual harassment and hostile environment and things of that nature, ... This is the kind of thing that just can't be done in the workplace ... It runs the risk of offending people.

The idea of putting yourself in someone else's shoes -- that's pretty basic. But staying conscious of that stuff helped me.

Getting a standing ovation was kind of humbling that so many people are so happy that I have been named for this award. A lot of people say you're due - maybe you are, maybe you aren't - it's an accolade.
