Genetic engineering is a result of science advancement, so I don't think that in itself is bad. If used wisely, genetics can be beneficial, but they can be abused, too.

It is amazing that we, as intelligent beings, have come so far and learned so much. But human genetic engineering is old news. I believe that what one may lack genetically, he may also compensate for genetically. When studying "disabilities", should we not further examine what the individuals have that others do not via cause and effect?

Giants exist now as they have in the past.

Where does the mind come from? Where do individual thoughts come from? Where does all talent come from? Certainly these things can not come from Genetics alone.

I think the ethics and morals of genetic engineering are very complicated. It intrigues me.
