Georgia DOT has a project now to upgrade that two lane section to a four lane divided highway.

It's like we have a two-lane highway when we should have four.

This project to me, is (about) renovations. We have to upgrade everything in this building.

We've got the fact that the Cadillac was going 45 miles per hour in the fast lane of the highway. ... That is a significant piece of evidence.

The Hilton Avenue section is the most pressing part of the project because it's a deep line with a lot of other utility and storm lines around it. We are proceeding at our best pace.

Interstates and parkways ... we recommended going to 70, and some of the four-lane non-interstate, non-parkway roads we recommended going to 60 miles per hour from 55. Many of the rural interstates are now six lanes and not four lanes like they were at that time, which, in my opinion, makes them even safer.
