Golf is evolving, every day, every shot.

Welcome to golf, ... I wish we could say we could putt well every day, but it doesn't happen. The only thing you can do is control your speed every day. This week, my speed has been a little bit erratic.

I just didn't start off very well and it was a long day. All day I was grinding, but I stayed as patient as possible and I have three more days to get back into it. I will go home, relax and put this day behind me.

Don't force your kids into sports. I never was. To this day, my dad has never asked me to go play golf. I ask him. It's the child's desire to play that matters, not the parent's desire to have the child play. Fun. Keep it fun.

It just felt so bad, ... That's not how you're supposed to win a golf tournament. We're in a playoff, we're battling, and J.D. played beautifully all week. We should be playing 17. I was thinking I had 160 (yards), and I'm hitting a drawing 8-iron.

I'm saying my rosary every day.
