Good ideas are the backbone of good government.

If Washington, D.C., is not going to think big, if they're not going bring us any grand new ideas on energy independence and security, then it falls on the shoulders of the states and the private industry, and that is what we are doing here in these coming days,

All we have gotten from state government is excuses, obstruction and inaction,

Acquire a government over your ideas, that they may come down when they are called, and depart when they are bidden.

We all have other interests and other musical ideas. We don't really see this as a band that all four of us are committed to in a way that, if one person leaves, it totally destroys it.

There is more repression, a more repressive atmosphere and there are no new ideas coming from the government. It is behaving as if everything is normal and that is what is making the situation really bad.
