Grandville's an outstanding football team. In my opinion, they're probably the toughest team we'll face in the regular season.

The kids showed tremendous character. They could have fallen apart after that turn of events. But they came right back. They showed great character and mental toughness.

We came over, played a very good football team and got beat. If we dwell on this, we'll be in trouble next week.

This sets the tone. It shows everybody we're ready. It's the same thing -- 4A, 3A, 2A -- it's football.

It was a shock when I had to go in there because in Arena football, you don't see the quarterback go down that much. But you got to be ready. That's how I prepared. With Tony being the guy, he gets all the reps in practice, but you do what you have to do.

Division-I football, that would be hard to refuse.
