Growing up, I loved the tale of Peter Rabbit and also books on Pippi Longstocking. Pippi was a girl who had so much fun and was very daring. My sons loved all the Dr. Seuss books

Good literacy skills can help children:

-Be healthy and safe.
-Do their homework to their best ability.
-Get and keep a job one day.
-Eventually participate in local committees or government

Children's reading and children's thinking are the rock-bottom base upon which this country will rise. Or not rise. In these days of tension and confusion, writers are beginning to realize that books for children have a greater potential for good or evil than any other form of literature on earth.

If things start happening, don't worry, don't stew, just go right along and you'll start happening too.
