Had they not stepped in, the building would have been razed, and now it?s on the National Register. So we were looked at in a very different way there than I had understood from listening to people here.

It's on the National Historic Register. It's a significant historic property.

We have a lot of buildings in our downtown that could be on the National Historic Register if we wanted them to be.
