Happiness is the realization of God in the heart. Happiness is the result of praise and thanksgiving, of faith, of acceptance; a quiet tranquil realization of the love of God.

Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

Do not wait until all seems lost to look to God, it is in the times when all is well that we ought to be praising Him and thanking Him and drawing closer to Him with each passing moment.

Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.

Sing unto the LORD with thanksgiving; sing praise upon the harp unto our God: / Who covereth the heaven with clouds, who prepareth rain for the earth, who maketh grass to grow upon the mountains.

I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify him with thanksgiving.
