Having been up in an area where they have a lot of good actors, she's never had a part this big before. She has transformed herself from a Long Island housewife to a Southern truck driver's wife and developed that character quite well.

Jane and Emily have both explored the depths of their talents. They are both new to these roles, and they have developed characters with great intensity. They've both been around for a long time, but I think this may be the hardest they've ever worked.

And the extremes are what make the show so funny.

The fact that you have two people both wanting to do the same thing provides the tension in the show. The understanding of the reasons that each one wants to get in there first provides the resolution to the show. It's an emotional rollercoaster ride.
