Having three boys and one girl after only having one bowler qualify last season is great for the school.

T-shirts are big business. I think that might be because you can make an artful statement by wearing one, but it's not too expensive.

This was the best we've played this season, all three games. We played really well, even the Nacogdoches game (a 1-0 loss). We lost on the scoreboard in that game, not on the field.

We've had just about everyone but three girls fighting some injury sometime this season. We've had a lot of people step up in games for us this year, though.

Games like this seem to be our trademark. We were down by double digits three other times this season, but the kids just keep playing. It drives me nuts, but it doesn't seem to bother them.

There are too many baseball games in a season to dwell on one loss. We have to just have a short memory and go on.
