He can pitch. I saw him last summer in a wooden bat league. He's crafty, just like Cornelius. He's a competitor. When he gets on that mound, he wants to send that hitter to the dugout.

It wasn't the same without him in there. Cornelius is a crafty veteran. He's going to get out there and do things because he knows the tricks of the trade. After playing with him for two years, you get a feel for what he's going to do, and when someone else is in there, maybe they're not as quick or not as strong, and you react different, and it affects the whole defense.

He is a strike-thrower. In (the CPL), if you throw enough strikes and let the wooden bat take care of itself, you will be OK. He keeps the ball down and is a very good fielder.

This was sort of like our Cinderella, to come through here 1-0 and hold them after the pounding they've been giving to people. But you give credit. We got the pitches, and we made the plays defensively.

That's just the way we've been. Everybody's been contributing RBIs here and there. Nobody's just exploded.

He's been effective, and his speed is increasing because he's getting used to the rotation.
